Our goal here at Do'Urden Kennel is to breed for the total dobermann. We realize that this journey is travelled by many, yet achieved by few. Our dogs all
conform to the standard as it is currently written in
their home country of Germany, where the breed
originated (the
FCI standard as per the Dobermann Verein
).
The purpose of every one of our dogs is to 'Protect'
their owner and families, as was their original design.
However, we also work each and every one of them
in the conformation ring as well as the AKC and UKC
obedience ring.
Our dogs are truly special to us. All of our puppies are
raised underfoot, in the house. All of our adults are
also in the house with us. We don't believe in raising
'kennel dogs'.
Though our litters are few, we strive to better the
breed with each one. We firmly believe that form and
functionality go hand-in-hand.
